Trans-Mutate and Rampage find themselves subjected to the Delirious Fire.
Synopsis
Rampage stands in a scene of utter devastation, holding a scientist up by the throat as he demands a confession. Then suddenly he's strapped down with multiple tools pointing at him. The scientists standing over him, one of them looking like Lord Imperious Delirious, prepare for the next test — lateral bisection. A scientist swings an axe down, and Rampage finds himself elsewhere. A tiny avatar of Delirious tells him that this is just a resting point between tortures as Delirious tries to snuff out his mind. As Delirious muses on the possibility of himself later claiming Rampage's body as his own, Rampages demands to know where Trans-Mutate is, and Delirious reveals that she too is being tortured until she submits.
Trans-Mutate floats in a fragmented, formless space with ever-shifting objects, unable even to put together a coherent thought. A red form appears in a nearby shape, and becomes recognizable as Rampage, who tells her to resist by using her power. Though she at first refuses, he manages to persuade her and she lets loose.
Back in the real world, the Delirious Fire dissipates and Lord Imperious Delirious is sent flying backwards into a wall. He orders the other Destructons to terminate Trans-Mutate, but now that the two Maximals have had their fill of energon, they're able to dispatch Bruton and Medusa. While Psychokhan wishes to avenge the pair, Delirious refuses him permission and reveals that he has already sent a distress call to Cybertron allowing Rampage and Trans-Mutate to return home once someone comes in response. The Destructons leave in their ship, and Lord Imperious Delirious connects the fallen Medusa and Bruton to the navicomp he took from Trans-Mutate, before he manages to break the security on it and accesses its reformatting protocols.
