Lightbright was one of several Transformers who witnessed Menasor and Swindle's arrival on their homeworld, Caminus, via spacebridge. First Contact

Lightbright and Hot Shot were Cityspeakers, stationed in Caminus. When Menasor appeared on their world, they reported to their commander, Afterburner, the warnings Caminus was giving them. While Hot Shot was unable to translate exactly what the Titan was saying, Lightbright was able to discern that he was saying "Enigma", though it still didn't prepare the Camiens for Menasor's rampage.
