Rung whistled The Empyrean Suite on his way to work. Stet Ultra Magnus regarded The Empyrean Suite as one of his favorite pieces of music. The Gloaming Skids heard the music running constantly in his mind, but couldn't identify it until he let Chromedome perform mnemosurgery on him. Chromedome hoped Skids wouldn't learn its significance. Who's Afraid of the DJD? Swerve played The Empyrean Suite for the comatose Ultra Magnus following Overlord's rampage. Ratchet found it distracting while he was trying to reattach Magnus's legs, and asked Swerve to turn it off. The Gloaming

• A not-insignificant number of fans believed that the song Tarn plays in "Rules of Disengagement" is The Empyrean Suite, although is was not officially stated within the comic. It wasn't canonically linked until "The Permanent Revolution."
