Mark McCall was a designer at Hasbro. He was responsible for designing the Alternators toys together with his Japanese colleague at Takara, Hironori Kobayashi. In 2004, McCall left Hasbro to pursue his own business. He was succeeded as Hasbro's Alternators designer by Steve Bono.
