Earthforce
A Decepticon satellite containing deadly gases crashed into the state, near Route 43 between Jacksonville and New Orleans, and took Prowl with it. Everyone thought Prowl had died a heroic death, but actually he'd survived, neutralised the gas, and just lazed around with the locals, taking it easy while his comrades worried about him. His excuse for such shoddy behaviour was that Louisiana life is taken at a slower pace.
In the end, a fun time was had by all the Autobots as they watched two rival Decepticon factions beat each other up over the satellite. Life in the Slow Lane
The combined Decepticon army set up shop in Louisiana's bayou. In an effort to regain control of the army, Megatron and Shockwave sent wave after wave of hitmen after Starscream; they weren't slow at all, the dastards. Assassins Both the bayou and base became the site of a massive, multi-faction battle when the Mayhem Attack Squad and Autobot Earthforce got involved, the latter trying to help Starscream.
