The name or term "Slapper" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Slapper (disambiguation).
Slapper is an Autobot from the Dinobots portion of the 2001 Robots in Disguise continuity family.
He uses the shield to hide the fact that he's a crummy toy.

Slapper is a member of the powerful Dinobots. And that's about all there is to say about him.

Fiction

Ask Vector Prime

The Dinobots, including Slapper, battled the Destructicons Bludgeon, Scourge, Dreadwind, and Smokejumper in Viron 403.0 Beta. Ask Vector Prime

Toys

Dinobots

  • Triceradon & Slapper (Deluxe 2-pack, 2003)
    • Accessories: Rifle/hatchet
A redeco of the Beast Wars Neo Predacon Bazooka, Slapper transforms into an organic ankylosaur of some kind. His beast mode club-tail has a (weak) spring for a "club attack" action. The tail also hides a hand-held weapon that serves double duty as both a rifle and a hatchet, depending on how Slapper holds it.
He was available only in a Walmart-exclusive two-pack with Triceradon.

Notes

  • Walmart's computer system had the two-pack listed as "Slag & Slugfest".
  • Speaking of "slag", Slapper's name is a common insult for a loose woman in the United Kingdom... as is "slag". Dinobots must have potty-mouthed creators.
  • Slapper and the other Dinobots had no "dimension" classification until an entry of the 2015 Facebook blog Ask Vector Prime assigned the 2003 Dinobots as Robots in Disguise (2001) characters.
