Following the Great Reformatting, Flare-Up was stationed at the Training Academy, learning from the ancient and enigmatic Target Masters. She quickly became one of the most promising cadets there, overhauling the curriculum and even mastering the extremely complex Darkmount Stratagem. Thusly, Flare-Up caught the attention of the Cybertronian Knights. Knight Flareup's profile card When Knight Sub-Commander Apelinq was sent to the Academy to meet her, he encountered Primal Prime, who also hoped to recruit Flareup into the Wreckers.
