Major

Major is a military rank from the Transformers Animated continuity family and Generation 1 continuity family.

In several Cybertronian military structures, Major is a rank, usually an Autobot one, lying above Minor and below Prime.

Nova Major became the leader of Prima's tribe after his master fled off-planet during the First Cybertronian Civil War. After the end of the war with the blessing of Alpha Trion, last of the Thirteen on Cybertron, Nova took on the mantle of Prime to become Nova Prime, sole leader of Cybertron. The Crucible

Primax 509.28 Epsilon Sentinel Prime was once Sentinel Major before ascending to the rank of Prime. Several million years later, a second 'bot, named in his honor, also rose to the rank of Major in the Autobot Guard and later the Elite Guard.
