After surrendering to the Autobots, Megatron requested that his trial be held at Luna 2's Raskol Arena, claiming it was the only place large enough to hold everyone who should bear witness. Assuming the role of Chief Justice, Optimus Prime agreed to give Megatron a fair hearing, even though a squad of escaped Decepticons invaded the arena in an attempt to disrupt proceedings and rescue their former leader. However, Megatron's plan was more subtle than that, as he was aware of an ancient law that still applied on Luna 2, allowing him to exploit a loophole that dictated crimes of sufficient severity could only be judged by the Knights of Cybertron themselves.
