Are we counting this as a separate franchise or not?

On the toy pages for basically every BW character I've looked at, there isn't a separate listing for Metals; rather, we list the U.S. toy and then at the end of the paragraph any differences in the "Japanese version." But we seem to have been a lot more rigorous in separating out the J-franchises from more recent years - look at Hot Rod (G1)/toys or Starscream (G1)/toys, we give Henkei and United equal billing to the American franchises. Was this a deliberate decision or just a leftover from 2006? And if it's the latter, should we update all the Beast-era pages? --Thylacine 2000 (talk) 15:27, 22 June 2015 (EDT)
