- Rollbar is a Decepticon from the Robots in Disguise continuity family.
Rollbar is a member of the Commandos, the team that combines into Ruination. Though just as dedicated to fighting Autobots as the rest of his team, he's more restrained, especially in comparison to his fellow land-based Decepticon, Armorhide.
He sounds vaguely Southern.

Armorhide was one of several Autobot protoforms who was converted into a Decepticon by the Predacons. When choosing his alternate mode, Darkscream selected an army jeep, musing at how its cannon would "make mincemeat out of the Autobots."
Rollbar would serve as a member of the Commandos for most of the series, sometimes providing more sensible advice than his team-mates, and was a proponent of the idea to sabotage the Global Space Bridge computer.
When the Decepticons betrayed Galvatron, Rollbar was naturally among them, and, thus, suffered a reprogramming when their plan failed. When the Decepticons and Predacons were all defeated, Rollbar was taken to an asteroid prison with the rest of the villains.
