I might be wrong here, but don't the Technobots join Fortress Maximus' group because of his plan to leave Cybertron, rather than serving under his command prior to his decision to depart? I think the same also applies to the Monsterbots.--Tribimat 14:59, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

Their first appearances could be construed that way, but I don't believe it says out-right. The two groups do introduce themselves individually to Fort Max as they enter the Steelhaven, but, well, everyone does that all the time in Budiansky-land, so I didn't think much of it. --ItsWalky 15:59, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

Are the rear views of the Technobots that riddled with errors? To me it just looks like they've been generalized, like every other Transformer. Their kibble has been reduced or removed, like the Seekers (nosecones missing from Skywarp, Thundercracker and Skywarp), Cyclonus' nosecone, Springer's various kibble, wheels being removed from practically every Autobot, and the big gap in Optimus Prime's G1 figure is closed up in every episode. I'm not sugggesting that the Technobots are animated as toy-accurate, but they don't really seem any worse than the animation model of any other figure. At least not to the level that it bears mentioning in this article.

There's stylization, which is everything you mentioned, then there's absurd error, which is what I've mentioned. The Technobot's rear animation models aren't stylized, they're completely wrong, improvised drawings done without any reference with ridiculous results unlike every other model drawn up for the show. If you have any screenshots showing that the animators weren't following their own models, feel free to add them, as that itself is certainly worth mentioning.
