Talk:Earth-91274
From MediaWiki
Excuse me?
When and where exactly was this Earth's number officially established? The footnote leads to a fansite.--Nevermore 14:15, 28 October 2010 (EDT)
- Probably one of the multitude of Official Marvel Handbooks that the guys behind the Marvel Universe Appendix write. --ItsWalky 14:36, 28 October 2010 (EDT)
- It'd be nice to get a volume and issue number or something, like we have for Earth-120185.--Nevermore 14:45, 28 October 2010 (EDT)
- I thought that was official. We link to it on Circuit Breaker's page. But searching around I guess it isn't official. Oops. - Starfield 14:56, 28 October 2010 (EDT)
- Marvel Wiki's Multiverse page lists it in "Unofficial Universes" which "have not actually been printed in an official Marvel publication". --abates 15:36, 28 October 2010 (EDT)
I'm not sure if the date has actually made it into anything published yet, but it is noted in a couple of places 'round the internet, including the Marvel universe-number master list on the "Appendix to the OHOTMU" site, which is written by the guys who are behind most of the handbooks these days. The number is derived from the birthday of Marvel editor Nelson Ribeiro (September 12, 1974), who's a big TF fan - he posted about it on TFW2005 a while back. - Chris McFeely 15:44, 28 October 2010 (EDT)
- According to the Marvel Wikia talk page for Multiverse, volume 5 of the "Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A-Z" had a message referring people to that appendix site, so that's where the number must have originated. --abates 15:49, 28 October 2010 (EDT)
- Added everything I could source.--Nevermore 07:25, 29 October 2010 (EDT)
