- Sunstorm is a Decepticon from the Cybertron portion of the Unicron Trilogy.
Sunstorm packs a lot of power into his bodyframe. However, he's not exactly the brightest bulb in the marquee. But if you need something reduced to glowing rubble, Sunstorm is your mech.

An alternate-universe version of Sunstorm was one of Megazarak's loyal inner circle. Megazarak's Universe profile His radioactive condition was the result of an accident at the manufacturing facility during his birth. He was apparently a Child of Primus, Sunstorm's Universe profile though it is not known if or how he participated in the Universe War. - Sunstorm (Legends of Cybertron, 2006)
- Sunstorm is a redeco of the Legends of Cybertron Starscream mold, transforming into a Cybertronic jet fighter. His wing-sections/biceps hide flip-out weapons: the right arm hides a blade, while the left arm has a non-firing cannon.
- This mold was also used the make Cybertron Ramjet and Skywarp, Universe Ramjet and Thrust, War for Cybertron Starscream, and Dark of the Moon Cybertronian Starscream.
Notes
- Sunstorm is the first "new" character to the standard-retail-release Legends of Cybertron assortment. However, he may not be the first "new" character to the line as a whole, given the ambiguity that is Ramjet.
