Hightower (Universe Ultra)
| The name or term "Hightower" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Hightower (disambiguation). |
- Hightower is a Decepticon from the 2001 Robots in Disguise continuity family who was drawn into the 2003 Universe War.

Hightower is one of four Decepticons who combine into the mighty Constructicon Devastator. He was a snobbish, supercilious, unpopular perfectionist who felt demeaned to have to associate with the other Constructicons. He has no known connection with the other cranes named "Hightower" (or green-and-purple Decepticon cranes in general) throughout the multiverse - not to mention the one also in the Universe War.
Fiction
Ask Vector Prime
Hightower was created when the members of the Build Team of Viron 704.31 Epsilon was reformatted by Megazarak's Robo-Smasher. The team was ego-wiped and implanted with shell programs drawn from old Predacon personality components. On the eve of an important battle, members of both sides of the war, including the Constructicons, were snatched away by Unicron to participate in the Universe War. Ask Vector Prime
Toys
Universe (2003)
- Long Haul & Hightower (Ultra-level 2-pack, 2006)
- Accessories: Pistol, crane-cannon
- A redeco of the Robots in Disguise Hightower mold, Hightower transforms into a crane truck. His crane-boom detaches to form a massive cannon with flip-out barrel. His small hand-held pistol stores in his boom-operator's compartment. He can form both arms (simultaneously) or either leg of the team's combined Devastator super robot mode.
Notes
- While clearly an homage to the Generation 1 Constructicon Hook, Hightower's team technically has no name. The term "Constructicon" appears solely as a prefix to the name of their combined form, "Constructicon Devastator." Thus, the only Universe characters who can properly be considered Constructicons are the Micromasters, whose packaging does identify them as such.
