The name or term "Fracture" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Fracture (disambiguation).
Fracture is a Decepticon from the Robots in Disguise portion of the Aligned continuity family.
See, I can’t just have some psychopathic murderers getting to the Vault before I do. Don’t get me wrong, it’s cute that you all think you’re the heroes of this little adventure, but—you’re not. You’re bandits. You’re the bad guys. And I...am the goddamn hero.

A bounty hunter by trade, Fracture has absolutely no scruples as far as what he'll do to bring in his quarry. No tactic too underhanded, no trick too dirty, and certainly no worries whatsoever about messily eliminating any competition for a bounty. Smug and self-assured, he's just in it for the monetary gain.

Naturally, this puts him at odds with rival bounty hunter Drift, who ends up taking many of the same jobs as Fracture, but for (ugh) honorable reasons. Fracture longs for the day he can finally put that nuisance in the scrapyard and just beat the crap out of bounties in peace.

He's backed up by his two Mini-Con partners, Airazor and Divebomb, who he can launch like missiles from his shoulders. They're most often deployed to provide distractions or mop up anyone who might get between Fracture and his prey.

Fracture headed to Earth to pick up the bounty on Bumblebee, however Drift had had the same idea, and the pair tangled at a deserted ranch. Fracture managed to get Drift on the ropes until Bumblebee and his team joined the fight, forcing Fracture and his Mini-Cons to retreat. Using micro-drones to spy on the Autobots, Fracture was able to set a series of traps, enabling him to capture Grimlock, Strongarm, Sideswipe and Denny. He attempted to use them to bargain for Bumblebee, but instead ended up fighting Drift again. Though he again defeated Drift, Slipstream and Jetstorm hijacked his ship, freeing the hostages and forcing him to flee. Hunting Season

Now stranded on Earth, Fracture took on an Earth vehicle mode and joined forces with Steeljaw's gang. An encounter with Clampdown led the gang to confront the Autobots in a garbage dump, and an overconfident Fracture was defeated by Sideswipe. Steeljaw later managed to free the Decepticons from their cuffs and they returned to their hideout. Back at the base, Fracture expressed his doubts as to Clampdown's reliability, what with him snitching to the Autobots, but Steeljaw assured him that the crab-bot had been suitably... convinced that betraying them again would not be in his best interests. Sideways

Fracture took part in a plan to take over the Autobots' scrapyard. It was briefly successful, with the Autobots being kept out using a subsonic field, but once they got back in, Fracture tried to face them with the other Decepticons. He squared off against Drift successfully until Drift was joined by the other Autobots, who dispensed of the rest of the Decepticon team. Defeated, Fracture later had to flee back to the hideout with the other Decepticons. Lockout

Born to be wiiiiiiillllld!!!

Lobo's wild ride.

Part of the third wave of Robots in Disguise One-Step Changers, Fracture transforms from robot to chopper in just 1 easy step! For some reason, his optics were painted blue instead of red.

(Hasbro Version Pictured)
  • Decepticon Fracture (Deployer, 2015)
    • Accessories: Airazor Mini-Con (both Hasbro and TakaraTomy), Sandsting (TakaraTomy only)
This Warrior-sized mold of Fracture transforms from a Cybertronian Chopper Bike to a robot. Low on articulation, Fracture is constructed around his "Deployer" gimmick, a large, built-in, spring-loaded launcher which hangs off his right-hand side and can launch any Robot in Disguise Mini-Con figure, including his packed-in partner, Airazor. In robot mode, pulling down on a lever on Fracture's back swings the launcher downward to fire the loaded Mini-Con; in vehicle mode, it becomes his bike's sidecar, and the Mini-Con is launched by pressing a button on top of it. The launcher is designed with a "safety" switch on its underside that prevents the button from being pressed unless the bike is placed on a surface.
The included Airazor transforms into a torpedo, and comes with a sprue of extra weapons and armor. Most of these extra pieces attach to Airazor to make his alternate mode resemble a tiny spacecraft; he also comes with an teeny-weeny little pair of energy swords, which he can hold in his hands or store on his legs, and which can also mount on Fracture's forearms. Fracture features a Mini-Con mounting port on his left elbow, where Airazor or any other Mini-Con can attach.
Both Fracture and Airazor feature scannable insignias on their robot mode chests, easily scanned even in-package which will temporarily unlock them as playable characters for the Robots in Disguise mobile game, if the player has not already permanently unlocked him.
The secondary stock photos features a different deco compared to the final product, some of his parts are changed to a reddish purple, and his scannable insignia is slightly enlarged.
The upcoming Adventure Series release of Fracture features extensive paint applications, and includes another Mini-Con, which is a redeco of Sandsting rather than Divebomb.
