The Dinobots are an Autobot subgroup from the Dinobots portion of the 2001 Robots in Disguise continuity family.

The Dinobots are a team of six Autobots that can transform into dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures.

The Dinobots were the only real resistance left on Viron 403.0 Beta and battled the Destructicons Bludgeon, Scourge, Dreadwind, and Smokejumper to little avail. When Megazarak departed for a while, the Dinobots pressed the advantage and set back many of Jhiaxus's operations. Ask Vector Prime

The Dinobots were sold in 2003 as three separate Walmart-exclusive two-packs. Each set contained both a Deluxe-level and a Basic-level toy, but was sold for only the price of a standard Deluxe. The Dinobot toys are all redecoes of molds from the Beast Wars and Beast Wars Neo toylines.

• The Dinobots had no "dimension" classification until an entry of the 2015 Facebook blog Ask Vector Prime assigned them as Robots in Disguise (2001) characters.
