Magne-current amplifier

Magne-current amplifiers are devices that, well, amplify currents within machines. Presumably through the use of magnetism. If used improperly, a Magne-current amplifier can cause the machine it is fastened onto to overload and shut down.

In order to escape from Axiom Nexus's offworlder maximum security prison, Packrat had Oilmaster plant a magne-current amplifier onto the prison's generator. Whether or not this would have done the trick is unknown, as the power went off in all of Axiom Nexus a few moments later due to completely unrelated circumstances. Cybertron's Most Wanted
