"Mad" Alterton

Alterton is a designer and sculptor from [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Trelew|{{#if:||Trelew}}]], Argentina. Inspired by the statues in the comic shop near where he attended university, he became a self-taught sculptor, eventually dropping his studies in orthodontics to take freelance sculpting up as a career, with credits to his name with Diamond Select Toys, Art Asylum, First 4 Figures, and many more over twenty years in the industry.

First 4 Figures credits him as "Mad" Alterton for whatever reason. Maybe because if you call him "Doc", he'll simply kick your fat ass.<ref>Alterton's 2005-ish online bio (archived)</ref>

Alterton was to be the lead sculptor for F4F's Transformers Battlefield series of battle scene dioramas, and had started digital sculpts for at least three sets, though ultimately only the Optimus Prime vs Megatron statue was released.
