27 Lenticular Valentines (G1)

Produced in 2013 (or 2014) for Valentine's Day, the 27 Lenticular Valentines set by Paper Magic Group is meant to evoke the good old days of Generation One. Each card in the set is lenticular, in that moving the card around will show either a piece of profile artwork, a head shot of the profile artwork with a saying, or a head shot with a stylized "1984".

The set specifically contains 3 sheets of cards, with each sheet having one of the nine different images.

• Bumblebee - "Have an action packed, Valentine's day!" [sic] (1984 head shot uses different artwork)

• Optimus Prime - "Valentine, You Rule!" (1984 head shot uses different artwork)
• Starscream - "Power to you, Valentine!" (1984 head shot uses different artwork)
• Cliffjumper - "You rock, Valentine!"
• Hound - "Hope your Valentine's Day is a blast!"
• Brawn - "Let's get to it, Valentine!"

Notes

Vintage.

Not so much.

• The packaging design and much of the artwork and sayings are shared with partner release 34 Valentines With 35 Tattoos. However, the two are immediately distinguishable by the use of Powermaster Optimus Prime on the front of the other set and Bumblebee on the front of this set.

• While most of the artwork appears to be stock packaging artwork from the period, the Bumblebee image is quite clearly artwork by Guido Guidi.
