  • Freakwency / 8-Trax (2026)
Part of the second Transformers Collaborative toy crossover with the Netflix-produced science-fiction/horror series Stranger Things, 8-Trax is a robotic hawk that transforms into an 8-track cassette tape, which was severely obsolete tech and almost completely gone from retail by the show's in-universe date of 1987. In cassette mode, they can be stored inside the 8-track-player-like tummy region of their larger pack-in partner Freakwency.
The set was revealed and set up for preorder as a Target exclusive on November 7, 2025, as part of a big merch push for the fifth and final season of the show. But the toy was not released until June 1 the following year, long after the season finished up.
