Alfonso RamÃrez
José Alfonso Ramírez Torres (October 31, 1946 - April 18, 2019) was a Mexican voice actor. Ramírez was best known for roles like Taurus Aldebaran and Pisces Aphrodite in Saint Seiya, Sylvester in Looney Tunes, The Thing in the 1994 Fantastic Four series, Shredder in the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, Jet Black on Cowboy Bebop, Lionel Luthor on Smallville, Frank Tripp on CSI: Miami, Dale "Murph" Murphy in The Perfect Storm, Entei and Professor Spencer Hale in Pokemon 3: The Movie, General Ross on the 1996 The Incredible Hulk series, and several characters in the 1994 Spider-Man series, among others. He also served as a recurring dub voice for the likes of John Lithgow, Sam Shepard, Chris Cooper, John Carroll Lynch, and Jeffrey Tambor.
Ramírez passed away on April 18, 2019 at age 72 from Cardiovascular complications.
