Anime R (有限会社アニメアール Kabushiki-gaisha Anime Aru) is a Japanese studio established in the mid-1970s. Best known for support work, the company's credits has included multiple mecha series, most noticeably Sunrise's Armored Trooper VOTOMS, Gundam and Brave Series franchises. Other projects include the Dream Hunter Rem OVA series, City Hunter, Dirty Pair, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Bamboo Blade, 009-1, Tokyo Ravens and Gamers!. They've also worked on some American productions, including the Captain Power videos, the original ThunderCats series and Oban Star Racers.

In regards to Transformers series. They've assisted on the original cartoon and the 1986 movie, albeit uncredited, and the Galaxy Force anime.

A few years after Galaxy Force, several of their animators would return to the franchise to work on Transformers Animated's Japanese opening (including the director, Toru Yoshida) for Barnum Studio and Diomedea, and a couple episodes of the Transformers Go! OVA on "2nd Key Animation" duties.
