Anne Bryant is a composer. She is most famous for writing the theme to The Transformers, and writing the music for Jem and the Holograms, but she also provided themes for many other cartoons, including Visionaries, My Little Pony'n Friends, Inhumanoids and Robotix as well as music for movies and advertising. At the time, she was teamed with her assistant, Ford Kinder, operating as Kinder & Bryant which was how they were credited on The Transformers. Kinder & Bryant ended up composing many of the themes for Hasbro's shows by virtue of an existing relationship with Griffin Bacal.
Bryant first began cultivating her interest in music at the age of ten, and by eleven had managed to become a gopher for composer Peter Matz. Prior to forming Kinder & Bryant, she and Kinder worked for ad agency Michlin & Company, and it was through that company that they made their initial contacts in Griffin Bacal. After closing down Kinder & Bryant, Bryant continued to compose music for TV and film, founding Gloryvision Ltd, and was Director of Music at advertising firm The Joey Company. Most recently, through Gloryvision she published MasterClick, a software package for calculating timings for musical scores. Bryant has also sued Sunbow Productions for royalties over the Transformers theme and other music.
