Mega Evolution worked a little differently for Megatron.

Another Con was a comic by Pete Sinclair and Rob Meyer. Though a fan-production, certain strips were published by Fun Publications in their Transformers Collectors' Club publications, thus making those strips "official" in some capacity. The comic featured a humorous look on certain aspects of the Transformers franchise.

  • Hasbro Transformers Collectors' Club issue 2
  • Hasbro Transformers Collectors' Club issue 5
    • Four "actors" are introduced, all of them individuals who failed to understand what the producers were looking for when casting for the Beast Wars cartoon:
      • Buddy "Ladybug" Johnson, a man in a ladybug outfit
      • Stephan "The Monarch", a mustachioed pink 'bot
      • Lenny "Horsefly" Horowitz, an overweight bug-bot
      • Bob "Paramecium" Shumway, a microscopic organism armed with a laser-pistol.
  • Hasbro Transformers Collectors' Club issue 10
    • "Transformers: Stoneage" pits the Autobots against the Decepticons at the time of primitive man! A caveman wields a Decepticon in his wooden-club mode against an Autobot in his stone-wheel mode, and is confused when both of them cry out in pain after being hit with one another.
