Asao Takahashi
Asao Takahashi (高橋 朝雄) was a Japanese illustrator, animator and director who worked on a wide variety of productions including [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Yu-Gi-Oh|{{#if:||Yu-Gi-Oh}}]], [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}One Piece|{{#if:||One Piece}}]], Mazinger Z, and a variety of entries in the [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Mobile Suit Gundam|{{#if:||Mobile Suit Gundam}}]] mega-franchise. In the world of the Transformers, he contributed to the story pages for the Scramble City subline of the original Generation 1 franchise in his capacity as a member of Studio OX as well as lending his animation talents to the Generation 1 cartoon. He passed away in 2014.
