Landmine and Cloudburst, in their mission to acquire microchips, went into Asteroid Alley to purchase them. They found a potential seller, who refused to do business with humans, remarking that he would rather kiss a carnivorous poly-slug instead. Hi-Test and Throttle, unaware of Landmine and Cloudburst's true allegiance, introduced themselves and offered to sell microchips to the pair. The Autobot Pretenders took them up on the deal. Berko, nearby, laughed at them and warned them of how untrustworthy the sellers were.

Later, after getting the microchips, the Autobots found Berko in Asteroid Alley and revealed their true nature to him, inadvertently allowing Hi-Test and Throttle to witness them. Guess Who the Mecannibals Are Having for Dinner?
