- Aston is a Builder Micromaster from the Beast Wars: Uprising portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Aston is a producer for Iacon Communication Services, the Builder propaganda network.

[edit]When the Vehicon Apocalypse threatened all life on Cybertron, he tried to help Rook get the word out. Unfortunately, his executive producer had other ideas, sticking to the official doctrine that the Vehicons were here to help. Aston was assimilated into the Vehicon army, along with the rest of ICS. Aston was repurposed from Universe Bodyblock.
- In the UK, all twelve Mini-Cons from the original "Mini-Con Class 12 Pack" set were released in individual blind-packed bags with "energon fizzy jellies" candies, distributed by The Little Factory Ltd.
- Though all of these Mini-Cons are actually new molds with numerous tiny differences from the originals, Bodyblock is one of the few toys with a major change: this version has orange leg-struts and shoulder joints instead of the original's reddish-brown.
- This toy was repurposed as the TransTech Mini-Con Aston.
