The Aston Martin Decepticon is a man-made Decepticon from the Age of Extinction portion of the live-action film continuity family.

Created as a marketable drone robot by KSI, the "Aston Martin Decepticon" transforms into a white [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Aston Martin DBS V12|{{#if:||Aston Martin DBS V12}}]] and was "freed" by Galvatron to become part of his new army.

[edit]

The white Aston Martin was present in a convoy of Galvatron's forces as they crossed a bridge and proceeded deeper into Hong Kong to track down the Seed, although there was no sign of the robot when the Decepticons subsequently engaged the Autobots in the city. Age of Extinction

Notes

[edit]
  • This Aston Martin is part of a quartet of vehicles, alongside a McLaren and two Lamborghinis, who appear in several brief shots of Galvatron's forces in vehicle mode, but for whom no robot mode was seemingly ever designed, meaning they effectively disappear from the film once the Decepticons enter combat. This is likely due to the prop vehicles being privately-owned cars borrowed by the film production solely for the Hong Kong location shoot, as opposed to being pre-planned, specially-prepared product placement vehicles, which is the more typical scenario for the live-action film series.
  • The prop vehicle for this Decepticon is distinct from several Aston Martin Vanquishes that can be seen in and around the KSI facility, none of which are directly evidenced as having become part of Galvatron's army.
  • The Aston Martin DBS V12 used in filming was mildly customised by the SR Auto Group with PUR 9INE wheels sporting two-tone rose gold/gloss anthracite trim.<ref>SR Auto Group blog: Transformed</ref>
