Marvel The Transformers comics

[edit]

B'hgdad's goons were close to obtaining the bird when they got into a firefight with Louie and other members of Gutt's gang. In the confusion, three robots walked off with the bird. Later, B'hgdad was able to track the bird to a pawn shop, where it was being picked up by one of the robots. B'hgdad told Nightbeat that the bird was stolen from him and thanked him for finding it. Nightbeat didn't believe him and knocked him over the head with the statue. Nightbeat knocked over B'hgdad's men using one of the pawnshop's female patrons as a weapon and fled the scene. TransTech

[edit]

A version of B'hgdad living in Axiom Nexus hired Treadbolt to steal a bird sculpture from the collection of the late Transcendent Technomorph Ego. When Treadbolt and Spacewarp delivered the sculpture to him, B'hgdad apprehended them and their Mini-Con partners with energon bonds and mode locks, planning to turn them into the authorities in exchange for keeping the sculpture. After Spacewarp successfully tricked B'hgdad and his goons by modulating her voice and opening transwarp portals, Treadbolt disabled their bonds and the two proceeded to beat up B'hgdad and his goons before turning them in to the Offworld Zone Security Administration. Notes

[edit]
  • B'hgdad is based on the character Joel Cairo (Cairo, Baghdad, geddit?) from The Maltese Falcon. Joel Cairo was most famously played by actor Peter Lorre, whose characterization of Cairo also served as the basis of Dirge's portrayal in Theft of the Golden Disk.
