Mrs. Berkowitz is one of the many people who are unfortunate enough to live in the same New York apartment block as Seymour Simmons. She really likes to watch soaps.

The Veiled Threat

When Frenzy made an attempt to free himself from Simmons's basement, the resulting power surge caused all of the appliances in the building to go crazy. It happened to be right in the middle of Mrs. Berkowitz's favorite soap, and she emerged from apartment 6C to give her landlord, Carlson, an earful. He subsequently passed the earful on to Simmons, who decided perhaps he should experiment with his alien head elsewhere. The Veiled Threat
