Bertram Luskey

Bertram Luskey is a human from the Rescue Bots portion of the Aligned continuity family.

Older, but not wiser.

Bertram Luskey is the elder brother of Griffin Rock mayor H.B. Luskey. While Bert has followed more or less the same path as his brother, he has had more success — he is the mayor of a large mainland town, and his toupée is considerably more convincing. He also shares his brother's inability to consider the consequences of his actions.

Luskey managed to secure the hosting rights for a series of motor races for his town and invited his brother to join him as a spectator. During the post-race interview, he scoffed at the suggestion that one of the races be held on Griffin Rock. H.B. later introduced him to the Griffin Rock rescue team, and he was impressed enough to invite them to watch the second race. When a mystery car damaged the stands during the race, the brothers had to be plucked out of the way of falling debris by the car, Blurr, and its driver Dani Burns.

Bert was outraged at the damage and the fact the last race would have to be held in Griffin Rock as a result. He joined H.B. for a demonstration of the Directional Momentum Amplifier technology to be used on the cars. During the race, he insisted the DMA tech be turned to maximum, and as a result, the cars all lost control. Though the rescue team stopped the cars and Blurr technically won the race, Bert pointed out Blurr was an unregistered entry. While trying to wrestle the trophy off H.B., his toupée fell off, revealing his darkest secret to the world. Hot Rod Bot
