After an eight-day trip, Bomber Bill parked Bessie at Foster's Cafe. There, it was stolen by the Constructicons for use in their transdimensional radiowave scrambler. Seeking his truck back, Bill joined with the Autobots to find the Decepticons, who were using the scrambler to contact Cybertron. Filled with a sense of justice, Bill used Bessie to sever the cables connecting the scrambler and Soundwave. Furious, Soundwave picked up the truck with the intention of killing Bill, but the trucker was saved by Huffer. With the Decepticons retreating, Bill finally got on his way home in Bessie.
