Big Hoss is an Autobot from the movie continuity family (via the Speed Stars series).
My lovely Hoss, you're a pony no more.

Big Hoss ain't much of an Autobot. He doesn't much care about the rights of sentient beings or the lives of little ol' aliens caught in his species' endless wars of aggression. All that matters to Big Hoss is power, and it's his opinion that the Decepticons wouldn't know what to do with real power if it bit them on the bumper.

It don't matter, though—he can show 'em what real power is. Real firepower.

And that's how he got to earn the name Big Hoss.
  • Big Hoss (Stealth Force Deluxe, 2011)
Big Hoss is part of the first wave of Reveal the Shield-themed Stealth Force Deluxes (and part of the third wave overall). Lacking a robot mode like more traditional Transformers toys, he is instead a "monster"-style pickup truck of indeterminate model. At a press of his rubsign-bearing button, a friction-drive motor deploys an array of weapons and engine components, including a spring-loaded firing missile launcher under the front end. Pushing the top button down further fires the missile. Pulling a tab on his underside back towards his rear bumper returns the weapons to their hidden compartments.

Big Hoss was re-released under the Dark of the Moon-themed segment of Stealth Force. This release features a different flame pattern on his hood and a standard Autobot symbol instead of a rubsign.

  • Big Hoss was originally conceived as a new incarnation of Mudslinger, with a more G1-esque blue altmode coloration considered at one point.<ref name=Kraygen />
  • As with a lot of new characters introduced in the 2010~2011 toy lines, Big Hoss's bio info does not have any information that ties him to a specific franchise. He was only confirmed to be part of the live-action film series franchise when he was released under the Dark of the Moon banner.
  • His package art features his spring-loaded missile launcher mounted on the robot's back, nicely tying the imaginary robot mode with the actual toy.
