William "Billy" Brown (born October 30, 1970) is an American actor. He is best known as Detective Nate Lahey in How to Get Away with Murder and has appeared in movies such as 1997's The Lost World: Jurassic Park, 2008's Cloverfield, 2009's Star Trek, and the television shows Dexter, Sons of Anarchy, Hostages and Lights Out.
