[edit]The Black Rock Desert appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.
Driven by primal instinct after the destruction of his cybo-dendrons, Snarl ended up in the Black Rock Desert, where he terrorized the staff of a secret military base. The Autobots Brawn, Mirage, and Trailbreaker were on the case, but failed to subdue him. General Carl Thompson eventually stopped Snarl by evacuating the base and detonating an experimental bomb. He delivered the Dinobot to the Autobots, thanking them for the opportunity to get stationed somewhere else. Dinobot Hunt!
