Blast-X

Blast-X is a Decepticon from the Animated continuity family
You can't see me!

{{#ifeq: ||}} This character has no official visual representation in any Transformers product or media... yet, at least.

Blast-X may be a large lumbering brute, but he does have enough intelligence to come up with a plan no matter how ill-conceived that plan might turn out to be. His wrists conceal blasters which create sonic booms of energy powerful enough to send Bumblebee clear through a wall.

[edit]
The following summarizes one or more multipath adventures. Details vary depending on the paths taken in-story. See the book's page for information on alternate paths.

Time-Quake

[edit]

Blast-X discovered a time machine apparently sent back from the future and decided to use it to try and discredit the Autobots. His plan was to create "time-quakes"—temporal disturbances and anomalies—across Detroit. When the Autobots proved unable to stop the anomalies he would publicly do so, discrediting the Autobots and elevating himself to the status of a hero. Bulkhead and Bumblebee tracked the source of the disturbances to the Lions Tower skyscraper where Blast-X had holed up. With the help of a young human they were able to overcome Blast-X and Bulkhead destroyed the machine before they turned Blast-X over to the police. Time-Quake

There is a second, equally valid version of events:

Blast-X teamed up with a time traveler from the future, Natasha Pyraniac to enact a plan involving creating time-quakes across Detroit. The pair used Pyraniac's time machine located on the top floor of the Lions Tower skyscraper to sow chaos and eventually gained the attention of the Autobots. When Bumblebee and Bulkhead arrived to confront them Pyraniac opted to cut and run, disappearing in the time machine. Though Blast-X fought on believing that she would return to help him complete their plan the young human who was accompanying the Autobots pointed out the paradox he was in: Blast-X was using information about the Autobots' future battles to defeat them but if he defeated them now they wouldn't go on to fight those future battles. The paradoxical logic confused Blast-X long enough for the Autobots to defeat him. Time-Quake
