Bob Schaefer

Bob Schaefer is a background artist. He started out at Hanna Barbera in 1965 designing logos, but later moved into painting backgrounds on shows such as Jabberjaw and the various Super Friends series. As well as providing backgrounds for The Transformers and The Transformers: The Movie, he did so for the likes of Jem, The Real Ghostbusters, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Muppet Babies and Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. He continues to work in the field of animation, and is a member of Gang of Seven Animation.
