Broadside is a Mini-Con from the Armada portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Broadside loves the dark. And he's very good at operating in the dark, with a cruel streak that has certainly helped the Night Attack Mini-Con Team earn its grim reputation (and string of "dead or alive" warrants on numerous planets). But he's endlessly spouting off what he believes are creepy warnings about the darkness swallowing victims and the endless night and the like that some have a very hard time taking seriously, or just find outright pretentious and annoying.

A redeco of the Armada Land Military Mini-Con Team's Knock Out, Broadside transforms into a six-wheeled APC (Armored Personnel Carrier) with a spring-loaded missile launcher. This launcher becomes a shoulder-mounted artillery piece in robot mode.
In Japan, this coloration was used as the "Night Attack" version of Knock Out, not as a new character. This toy also doubles as Beast Wars: Uprising Broadside. This mold was redecoed again to make Cybertron Steamhammer.

An unaltered version of the Night Attack Mini-Con Team was released as part of an Energon-series "Mini-Con 6-pack" with an unaltered version of the original-deco Destruction Team (yet still called by the "Road Wrecker" name).
This pack was a shared exclusive to both Toys"R"Us and Walmart stores in the US.
