- The fictitious Shattered Glass character Pete Prometheus is presumably inspired by Buck Rogers.
- Buck Rogers was originally published by John F. Dille Co., a newspaper syndication business founded by Flint Dille's grandfather. Consequently, Flint is now a partial owner of the Buck Rogers IP and is actively involved in trying to revive the franchise.
