Check out my tire cleavage!

While most of their kind have elected to not choose a side, the [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}calcite|{{#if:||calcite}}]]-crunching energon elemental Calcitron has been conscripted into the Star Raider pirates' motley crew by their captain Thundertron.<ref name="Insta">Design notes on Calcitron from Hasbro designer Mark Maher on Instagram</ref>

Mercy is not dispensed here, fool. Only aquarium gravel.
  • Star Raider Thundertron / Star Raider Nightstrike / Infernac Universe Calcitron (Multipack, 2024)
Accessories: Crossbow/axe, roof/shield
  • Known designers: Mark Maher (Hasbro){{#if: |, {{{2}}}}}<ref name ="Insta"/>
Packaged with Star Raider Thundertron and Star Raider Nightstrike as part of the Walmart exclusive "Star Raider Collection", Legacy United "Infernac Universe Calcitron" is a redeco of fellow Infernac Magneous with a new head, which, like Geocron's, better resembles one of the Daira rock monsters they were inspired by.
Like previous lines' Weaponizers, Fossilizers, and Junkions, Calcitron can split apart to form weapon accessories for other characters. But unlike previous lines' Weaponizers, Fossilizers, and Junkions, only a few smaller parts of Calcitron (namely, their arms and shins/feet) split off, leaving a mostly-intact main body behind. In addition, the armor plates on the back of their forearms and the sides of their legs can be removed without disassembling the main figure, though it leaves their alt mode without any back wheels if you do. The roof of their truck mode can also be removed from his back to act as a shield; like the Junkions, none of these pieces need to be removed for them to transform.
Their weapon can be held by the handle to resemble a pickaxe, or by a post on the side to hold it as a crossbow. In alt mode, it can mount on the top of the bed for storage, or mount onto the grill to form a battering ram. Their feet and shins can be removed and mounted onto the head of the weapon, forming a significantly larger hammer.
Unusually for a figure of the Weaponizer play pattern, Calcitron's removable shins do not feature 5mm posts or holes; the shins can only fit on top of their axe.
Unlike most multipacks, Calcitron and their boxmates are packed in a single box that's more akin to packaging for a single figure, rather than the usual type of packaging used for multipacks.
This set went up on preorder on Walmart's website July 19.
This mold was also used to make Nucleous.

Notes

[edit]
  • Alongside the obvious energon blue, Calcitron's deco is likely based on the blue calcite they consume.
