Carl Weathers (January 14, 1948 – February 1, 2024) was an American actor, director, and former NFL linebacker. He was well-known for his acting roles as Al Dillon in Predator, Apollo Creed in the Rocky series, Derek "Chubbs" Peterson in Happy Gilmore, and as High Magistrate Greef Karga in The Mandalorian (some episodes of which he also directed). In the realm of voice acting, he voiced Omnitraxus Prime in Star vs. the Forces of Evil, a Dillion-inspired skin of Jax Briggs in Mortal Kombat X, and Combat Carl in the Toy Story franchise.
