That depends on the purpose of the categories... We aren't doing taxonomy here. In casual language humans and animals are different things, not one encompassing the other, so I think that's probably the way we should treat it. --Steve-o 20:02, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

Perhaps we should put a note to only include "non-sentient" animals. Granted, the 'Cons don't make such a distinction, but still...-- SFH 20:29, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
