Name

[edit]

Shouldn't this category be named Cybertronian wildlife? Where did Cybertronic come from? --Tigerpaw28 15:58, 6 April 2011 (EDT)

"Cybertronic" is actually the adjective of choice to describe something from Cybertron in the cartoon, being used in at least "S.O.S. Dinobots", "Fire on the Mountain", "A Prime Problem", "The Core", "Dinobot Island, Part 1", "Desertion of the Dinobots, Part 2" and "The Revenge of Bruticus". "Cybertronian" does not start being used until after the movie, and appears fewer times than "Cybertronic". - Chris McFeely 18:09, 6 April 2011 (EDT)

Deserves its own page?

[edit]

Reading the bios on Transformers.com where they confirm Movie Ravage, Laserbeak, and Insecticons as being re-engineered Cybertronian wildlife, I kinda feel like "Transformers wildlife" in general is a deep and broad enough topic to deserve its own wiki page, to give a good overview of the subject. Anyone else agree? --76.28.76.206 14:11, 3 May 2011 (EDT)

Good thinking, but I don't think there is much to say beyond the fact that there is wildlife on Cybertron. That should be put on the Cybertron (planet) page, definitely. But a "Transformers wildlife" page would be pretty empty of information. - Starfield 16:14, 3 May 2011 (EDT)
If anyone can think of anything relevant to say beyond what is already already on the top of this page, they should just add it here. --Khajidha 16:21, 3 May 2011 (EDT)
The problem is you can't really, far as I know, search for or link to a category page like you can a regular one, so turning the top of Cat list into article into a defacto Wildlife page with info not detailed elsewhere isn't a great idea IMO. THAT said, yeah, there may not actually be enough to say in general to fill out a full page of it's own. As Starfield said though, a section on the Cybertron page would probably be a good idea IMO.--76.28.76.206 16:32, 3 May 2011 (EDT)
You can search for a category, just enter Category:Cybertronic wildlife into the search box. As for linking, can a redirect page be created to a category page? If the text at the top of the category page gets too long, then a full page could be created. --Khajidha 16:42, 3 May 2011 (EDT) PS - apparently you can redirect to a category page. --Khajidha 16:45, 3 May 2011 (EDT)
You can link to a category page easy. --abates 17:55, 3 May 2011 (EDT)
I thought there was a way, I just couldn't remember how. --Khajidha 19:53, 3 May 2011 (EDT)
