Catherine Lafond

Catherine Lafond (b. August 25, 1945) is a French actress, voice director and dialogist.

In addition to various roles on screen between 1964 and 1985, she also practiced dubbing. She dubbed Julie Walters as Molly Weasley in the Harry Potter films and is one of the voices of Sandra Bernhard (notably in Roseanne and American Horror Story) and Nancy Allen, but she also dubbed Lisa Whelchel as Blair Warner in The Facts of Life and Pamela Sue Martin as Fallon Carrington Colby in Dynasty.

In animation, she is mostly known as the voice of Jem/Jerrica in Jem and The Holograms, Maria Fleed in Grendizer, Emeraldas in Arcadia of My Youth: Endless Orbit SSX and Princess in Battle of the Planets.

As a voice director, she directed the French dubs of series including Law and Order, the first seasons of Silent Witness, Sons of Anarchy, Genius and the first season of Bob's Burgers.

She is the mother of Thomas Sagols, who is also active in dubbing.
