In addition to writing for TTRPGs like Paizo's Pathfinder and Starfinder, he has also contributed to various local papers and other publications, including the Muskogee Phoenix out of Muskogee, Oklahoma, American Road Magazine, and Dicebreaker.com.
Chesley is a member of the Lumbee Indians of North Carolina.
