He has been a regular on stalwart British magazine 2000 A.D. since 1999, before which he worked as a cartoonist. He founded Daedalus Studios, which provides illustrations for educational material. He and fellow 2000 A.D. artist Steve Parkhouse also founded Shattered Frames, a publishing company through which they published Angel Fire, a comic written by Blythe and which he and Parkhouse drew.
