Several hundred thousand years ago, Citadel Secundus received a signal from the other Titans and was able to to pinpoint its source. The Lonely Titan At some point he ran out of power and ended up sitting on a planet in city mode until he was found by Scorch's Cube team. The team assumed Secundus's arena would be the perfect out-of-the-way place to train unobserved by the other Cube teams. When they attached their enerjuicer to power the lights, they inadvertently activated the arena's defenses and Secundus's distress beacon. The rescue recruits arrived in response to the distress beacon, and were able to use the enerjuicer to charge up Secundus's power core. Reactivated, Citadel Secundus transformed to robot mode and thanked his tiny rescuers. The Empty City

Continuing on his journey to find the source of the Titan signal, Secundus sent a message to Earth requesting someone join him for company. Heatwave arrived with the recruits, and Wedge volunteered to chat with the Titan, playing a game of "Stack Attack" together. After Wedge helped Secundus navigate out of a nebula, they found only empty space — the other Titans were long gone. Wedge invited Secundus to Earth, but Secundus decided to make one more attempt to try to find the Titans first. The Lonely Titan

Secundus served as the venue for the end of year party, with even Optimus Prime turning up. Midway through celebrations, the Titan was struck by an asteroid which created an anti-energon field, knocking out Secundus and almost all of the revelers, leaving Secundus on a collision course with Earth. Space Party Wedge, Medix, and Hoist successfully switched Secundus to receive mode so the other recruits could take remote control of the Titan, pulling him out of the crash moments before he would have hit Milford, and landing him safely next to the Academy. Citadel Secundus subsequently became a new wing for the school. Crash of the Titan
