Clump's father (クランプの父 Kuranpu no chichi) is a supervisor at the United Nations Wintering Observation Base in Antarctica and the father of Clump.

Clump's father was at the United Nations Wintering Observation Base when it detected multiple anomalies from Decepticon interference, such as melting glaciers and tremors. When a strong tremor destroyed the Base, Clump's father was among the few who escaped with their lives.
News of the Base's destruction reached the Autobots and Clump, who, out of fear for his father, tagged along with the Autobots on their investigation. In the meantime, Clump's father observed the Decepticons' energy gathering, realizing that they were the cause of all their troubles. The survivors were spotted by the Multiforce, but their rescue was impeded by Liokaiser. The resulting battle shattered the Antarctic ice, trapping the Base's survivors on a block of floating ice. Autobot reinforcements arrived, and the Base's personnel were attended to by Boater, Jan, and Clump. With the Decepticons chased away, Clump and his father were able to enjoy their reunion.
