The Collective Brutes are enormous green-skinned aliens affiliated with the Collective. Walking walls of muscles and ultra-dense bones, their huge size, formidable strength, and inbred loyalty means that they're well suited for various menial tasks—particularly those jobs that require the judicious usage of hired muscle.

Collective Brutes were the selectively bred descendants of an earlier forerunner species, which had somehow come into the possession of the Collective many eons ago. They were a common sight across the galaxy, and many hired themselves out as mercenaries. Decepticon Directive

Notes

• The name of Garnak and Codder's species was not given in IDW's original Transformers continuity from which they originated, but was instead provided by the Decepticon Directive sourcebook in 2023, which elaborated on their relationship to the Collective.
• The inhabitants of the mystery colony planet resemble Garnak, although it's unclear if they actually are members of the same species.
